The year 2020 will not have been a restful one for everyone and has been the source of many postponements due to more complicated working conditions. It was also the year of the transition to new generation consoles. Check out the games that will be released in the coming year.
With the beginning of the year marked by the release of titles such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Doom Eternal, the end of the PS4/Xbox One generation was marked by major productions such as The Last of US Part II, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ori and the Will of the Wisps and most recently Cyberpunk 2077. The new consoles from Sony and Microsoft are settling in smoothly with a large number of cross-gen games for the moment. The PS5 will host a number of exclusive titles in the first half of the year including the anticipated Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Gran Turismo 7, serving as new releases for Sony's historic licenses. The Xbox Series will kick off with The Medium, while Halo Infinite will make its debut by the end of 2021. There will also be expected sequels such as Back 4 Blood as the successor to Left 4 Dead 2, Horizon: Forbidden West, No more Heroes 3 and Hitman 3. 2021 is already shaping up to be a rich year for gamers, starting with the commercial success of the new generation consoles.
